بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Work Permit الهجرة إلى كندا عن طريق فيزة العمل Canada is one of the top immigration destinations with over 200,000 arrivals every year. Amongst them, 90,000 foreigners enter Canada as temporary workers under the work permit category. Employing foreign workers can be an essential part of a company's business strategy. Foreign workers can fill labour shortages in Canada and bring new skills and knowledge to help the country's economy grow. If you have skills that are needed, you are allowed to work in Canada provided you have a valid work permit. This application is for persons outside Canada who are not a Citizen or a Permanent Resident of Canada. Before applying for a work permit, these steps must be obtained: · A written Job Offer from an Employer · A confirmation of your Job Offer (Labour Market Opinion – LMO) from the Human Resources and Social Development Canada (HRSDC) · After HRSDC confirmation that a foreign national may fill the job, application should be send to CIC for the Work Permit Dependents accompanying the Temporary Visa Holder (spouse, common-law partner, etc...): Each accompanying members wishing to work in Canada, will have to apply for their own work permit. Your accompanied spouse can apply for an “open work permit” if you meet two requirements: · You must be authorized to work in Canada for six months or longer. · The work you are doing must meet a minimum skill level. Some jobs do not require and HRSDC confirmation. People in these categories need a work permit but not a “Labour Market Opinion” Workers covered under international agreements Ř Professionals, traders, investors and business people coming to Canada to work under certain international agreements Entrepreneurs and intra-company transferees Ř Some types of entrepreneurs, workers transferring within a company, and other types of workers who will provide significant benefit to Canadians or permanent residents by working in Canada Participants in exchange programs Ř People whose employment in Canada will provide similar employment to Canadians abroad, such as participants in youth exchange programs, teacher exchange programs or other reciprocal programs Co-op students Ř Foreign students who are studying in Canada and who need to do co-op work placements as part of their program of study Spouses Ř Spouses and common-law partners of certain foreign workers and of certain foreign students who are currently studying or working under the Post-Graduation Work Permit Program Ř Spouses of certain foreign students may obtain a work permit without having to obtain a labour market opinion from HRSDC. This exemption applies to spouses who are not themselves enrolled in full-time studies. Ř Eligibility criteria: To be allowed to work in this category, you must prove that you are the spouse of a student who holds a valid student permit and who is studying full time at a post-secondary institution—a university, a community college, a CEGEP, a technical or school of commercial studies—that is financed by the private or public sector and authorized by provincial law to award university degrees.

HRSDC and CIC have developed a facilitated processing for IT
specialists in high demand occupations in cooperation with employers
and the Software Human Resources Council (SHRC). Under the
facilitated processing, HRSDC has issued national confirmations for
the following occupations:
you should be aware that under the North American Free Trade
Agreement, Canadian employers may hire US and Mexican citizens
in the following occupations without needing an HRSDC confirmation: Live-In Caregivers Ř Employing foreign live-in caregivers in Canada can be very important for a family in the care of children, or elderly or disabled relatives. If you are applying to work temporarily in Quebec, you must meet all of the federal requirements and you must get a Quebec acceptance certificate (CAQ) from the province.
Ř The live-in caregiver must work in a private home, live in the house of the employer, be provided with a private furnished room within the home, be employed on a full-time basis.
